LINDA NAGEL
KA
Mrs. Nagel graduated from Northern Illinois University with degrees in special education and elementary education. She has been teaching special education, learning support, and kindergarten since 1978, taking off 15 years to raise her children. She is a Nani to 7 grandchildren.

LYDIA WENNING
1A
Mrs. Wenning graduated from Wingate University with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. She has been teaching for more than 20 years. She spent time living in London, attending the University of London, where she worked in a British primary school. While there, she completed a study in British Speech & Theatre which served as a catalyst to her converting to Catholicism in 1992.

Mrs. McLane graduated from Edinboro University in Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in specialized studies (education and human services) and a minor in psychology. She has experience teaching preschool & kindergarten. She loves cooking and spending time with family and friends.

TERRIANN TAAFFE

Ms. Taaffe has a bachelor's degree in elementary education K-9th. She enjoys traveling throughout North Carolina and has an appreciation for the heritage and history of our area. She enjoys teaching first grade.

KRISTIN PRICKITT
2A
Ms. Prickitt graduated from Gettysburg College with a bachelor's degree in English & elementary education and received graduate certification in educational media from Montclair State University. She has taught for more than 20 years as a Librarian and 1st-3rd grade teacher. Teaching is a family business with both her parents, in-laws, sister, children, and cousins all choosing to teach as a career.

Mr. Dries graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies PK-6 and a master's degree in elementary education from Pfeiffer University. He has taught at St. Patrick for over 10 years. He is a diehard Hokie fan, a graduate of the MACS system, and loves to play and host trivia.

RICARDO CASTRO
3A
Mr. Castro graduated from Florida International University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education with an ESOL endorsement. He earned a master's degree from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic University in marriage and family therapy. He is also certified to teach at the middle school level. He has been teaching since 1999 in elementary and middle school and taught R.C.I.C. while in high school. He enjoys cooking, singing in Spanish and English, and playing guitar.

Ms. Ligon graduated from University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. Born in Charlotte, she is a product of the MACS school system having attended St. Matthew, Holy Trinity, and graduating from Charlotte Catholic.

Mrs. Carroll graduated from University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a bachelor's degree in elementary education with a minor in children's literature. She is a graduate of the MACS system!

Mrs. Honeycutt graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. She has been teaching for more than 10 years in PK-4th grades. She is an avid Clemson tiger fan!

Mr. Lynch graduated from University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a bachelor's degree in education. He has been teaching 5th grade at St. Patrick for over 10 years. He graduated from Charlotte Catholic. He is an avid NY sports fan who loves the Yankees, Giants and Rangers!

ALLISON HERNANDEZ

Mrs. Hernandez graduated with a master's degree from Dowling College. She has lived in 3 states - New York, Florida and now North Carolina. She loves to travel, read, and go to the beach. It is her goal to share her love of reading with all her students.

ALETHEA SPROUL
COUNSELOR
Mrs. Sproul graduated from Appalachian State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and received a master's degree in school counseling from Gardner Webb University. She spent 3 years teaching in public school and has been a school counselor in the MACS system since 2010. She is a member of our Student Assistance Team. She is married to her high school sweetheart and has 3 children in the MACS system.

ANGELA NOONAN
LEARNING SUPPORT
Mrs. Noonan graduated from Wright State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and a master's degree in special education. She spent 12 years teaching middle school special education and has been with St. Patrick as a classroom and learning support teacher since 2013. She has 4 children.

ANNA TIVNAN
LEARNING SUPPORT & STEM
Mrs. Tivnan graduated from Appalachian State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration and received a master's degree from Queens University in teaching K-6. She taught for several years beginning in 1997 with CMS and joined the staff of St. Patrick in 2015. She is a third generation Charlottean!

AMY DAVIS
COMPUTER & ART
Mrs. Davis graduated from Barton College with a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in graphic design and a minor in marketing. She holds a master's degree in the art of teaching from Pfeiffer University. She has been teaching for over 10 years at St. Patrick. Amy's entire family (grandmother, mother, aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters and Amy) all graduated from the same Rutherford High School in NJ. Amy swam in high school and was ranked 7th in the state for backstroke in 2001 & 6th in 2002.

JULIE LANEY
LIBRARIAN
Mrs. Laney graduated from Samford University with a degree in early childhood, special, and elementary education. She earned a master's degree in elementary education from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) and is a certified librarian. She has been the librarian at St. Patrick for 5 years and has experience teaching first and second grade, as well. She is a freelance writer with many teaching ideas published in The Mailbox Books & Magazines.

Coach Topper graduated from Towson State University with a bachelor's degree in Physical Education. She has over 25 years of experience teaching PE and has also spent some time teaching middle school science. She is currently studying Theology to complete her master's degree.

Mr. Pierle graduated from High Point University with a bachelor's degree in music-vocal performance and received a master's degree from East Carolina University with choral conducting, vocal performance, and vocal pedagogy. He has a dog named Henry and enjoys hiking and traveling.

YAZMIN JONES

Senora Jones graduated from University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a bachelor of arts and from University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a master's degree in education. She has been teaching Spanish for over 15 years. She was born in Puerto Rico and raised in Charlotte and was married at St. Patrick Cathedral. She enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

WANDALYN MOBLEY

Ms. Mobley is a born-and-raised Charlottean and attended Belmont Abbey and Sacred Heart Colleges. She has over 30 years of experience teaching students with special needs. Both her children went to St. Patrick, Holy Trinity, and Charlotte Catholic, and her daughter graduated from and worked in Admissions at Belmont Abbey College.

Mrs. Phillips graduated from Appalachian State University with a bachelor's degree in communications. She has been working at St. Patrick for a few years but has been a parent at the school for many more. She is a huge Georgia Bulldogs fan and has two children in the MACS system.
