New Families

Teacher assignments are shared via email and posted in PlusPortals at the start of the summer. If you haven't received your assignment by July, please contact the main office an we will be happy to help.

Morning Carpool:  School opens as early as 7:00 AM for before care. Carpool will run until 7:55 AM; following that time, parents must escort their students into the building. Parents will enter the carpool line from Pierce Street and circle through the parking lot to drop of their child(ren). They will exit the parking lot making a right onto Buchanan Street. 

Afternoon Carpool: Dismissal begins at 2:40pm. Afternoon carpool will follow the same path as morning carpool but Pre-K students and their siblings will be picked up immediately behind the school on the blacktop. Please note that the school gates will remain closed until carpool is opened so there may be a line along Pierce Street. Students may be dropped of at 7:00 AM on school days for complimentary before care. St. Patrick does have a limited number of seats for its After School Enrichment Program which runs from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Interested families should complete a registration for St. Patrick School; registration is also available during the enrollment process. Please note that acceptance and enrollment into a MACS school does not guarantee a space in the afterschool care program.

We use Remind for day-to-day classroom communication and email for school-wide announcements. Our principal sends a weekly newsletter, the Irish Informer, every Sunday to detail what is coming for the week ahead. We recommend signing up for the newsletter so you never miss an important update. 

Text message alerts are used for timely or important reminders like weather-related updates, carpool instruction, or early release reminders.

Yes, St. Patrick students wear uniforms each school day. Full details - including approved colors and options are detailed in the Parent-Student Handbook. On the first Wednesday of every month, students may wear St. Patrick spirit gear. Our PTO also operates a Used Uniform Shop with gently used items available to all families. Details on shop openings can be found on our PTO page. 

We love our volunteers and there truly is a place for everyone here at St. Patrick - whether you can give an hour or a day each week. All volunteers must complete Safe Environment Education along with a background check. Visit the Diocese Safe Environment Page to learn more and register for training. Faith is woven into daily life at St. Patrick. Students attend Mass together regularly, participate in Adoration, celebrate Catholic Schools Week, and engage in service projects throughout the year. Our religion curriculum is grounded in Catholic teaching and is integrated across grade levels. Families of all backgrounds are welcome. We ask that all students and families respect and participate in our Catholic faith community. 

Students may bring a lunch from home or purchase lunch through our school cafeteria. Lunch accounts are managed through Orgs Online. Registration instructions can be found under the Quick Links section of the website. We recommend setting up your account and loading funds before the first day of school.
