Matthew Morgan Program
The Matthew Morgan Program supports students with Down syndrome. These students are not just supported here, they belong here. They are known, celebrated, and woven into the everyday life of our school. For families exploring this program, know that you are not just choosing a school: you are joining a community that shows up for your child, every single day.

Specialized Instruction
Our dedicated MMP teachers bring focused expertise to every student in the program. Instruction is intentional and consistent, and built around where each child is.
Full
Inclusion
MMP Students learn alongside their classmates in the general education classroom, supported by their dedicated MMP teacher. They are part of the class and lessons.
A Dedicated
Space
When focused, small group instruction is needed, students have access to our sensory classroom. This quiet, purposeful space is designed to support deeper learning outside of the general classroom setting.
The Whole
Child
Academic growth and social development go hand in hand here. Our program is built to support both, helping each student build skills, confidence, and connections that carry them forward.
Part of Something Bigger
The Matthew Morgan Program is St. Patrick's chapter of the MACS Options Program. We are proud to be the only elementary school to offer this program. The journey does not end in 5th grade. Our students continue on through the Options Program at Holy Trinity Catholic Academy and Charlotte Catholic High School, joining a tradition of Catholic education that supports them every step of the way.
Our Community Rallies
Every year, St. Patrick comes together to clap our students out as they go on to compete at the Special Olympics. The energy in our crowd says everything about who we are as a school. Every March (3/21), we celebrate World Down syndrome Day with our school-wide Rock Your Socks campaign, raising funds and raising spirits in equal measure. These are not just events, this is the St. Patrick School community.
