Care and Concern
The goal of the Care & Concern Committee is to ensure that the St. Patrick's community feels loved and cared for, both physically and spiritually. We are the workers who act according to Jesus' words: "I was hungry and you gave me to eat; I was thirsty and you gave me to drink...I was sick and you looked after me..."
Throughout the year, the Care & Concern Committee will actively work to nourish the St. Patrick's community. Our members will continue to provide meals for occasions both happy, as in the birth of a baby, and solemn, in times of illness or death. As well, our members will pray for those in the St. Patrick's community experiencing difficulties.

This committee is part of a national and international group, called Moms In Touch, which was founded in 1984. This group encourages parents to schedule weekly time to pray for their children and their schools. Our committee prays individually by name for a featured group, rotating from kindergarten through 5th grade and for the faculty and staff of St. Patrick's. We also pray for any special intentions given to us by the students and St. Patrick community. We meet weekly on Thursdays from 8:00AM-9:00AM, in the cafeteria. Any preschool age children are welcome.

PRAYER BOX
Personal prayer intentions may be written on a slip of paper and placed in the Prayer Box in each classroom of the school. These intentions are honored as private and will not be read aloud, but are acknowledged during morning prayer each day at school.
