  COMPUTER WIND UP

We are working on our last major projects of the year. Kindergarteners are each making a page for a letter of the alphabet in Kid Pix 4 and I will put the pictures in a slide show for each class.

First grade is doing a slide show on stroms. They worked on storms in class and we have done some online research in comoputer class. Their slide show will also be in Kid Pix 4.

Environmental Habitat is the subject matter for the Third Grade Power Poit presentation. The students are learning about habitats in the classroom and in the Media Center. They have also done research online and saved the information onto a Word document for easy access when they make their Power Point presentations.

As fourth graders continuw to study North Carolina they are researching light houses, facts , and symbols of North Carolina. The fourth graders are also saving their research onto a Word document. They will then use the information to create a Power Pooint presentation of their choice about North Carolina.

Our fifth graders have each chosen a state to investigate. Their Power Point presention will include information about their particular state.

All of the projects are curriculum related. They are expanding their knowledge of the state and presenting the information in a different format.
