Going Green

Our school could help save 64,000 trees each year*
*Let's do the math… If each elementary school in the US, about 60,000, stopped distributing 2 extra pages per family per week, they would save over 560,000,000 pieces of paper. According to Wikipedia, an average tree yields 9000 sheets of copy paper. This translates to a savings of approximately 63,000 trees per year. Saint Patrick's is saving from Thursday Packets and Lunch Ordering 2000 pages a week x 36= 72,000 sheets, x 0.36 (per page a week) = $2160. Thank you so much for your help & support!
