School Supply Sale

Order your EPI school supplies today until June 6th ONLY!!
Order using this order form and pay by check to St. Patrick's PTO or to order online go to www.epipacks.com and follow the instructions. All school supplies will be delivered to your child's classroom prior to open house. For questions, please contact Jennifer Braccia at 704-366-1856.

Field Day
Mr. Jarrett is working hard getting ready for Field Day and is in need of volunteers to help with the day. Each class needs 2 or 3 volunteers to help. The following is the field day schedule:
K - 2nd grade - May 12th - 8:50 am - 11:10 am
3rd - 5th grade - May 13th - 8:50 am - 11:10 am
Rain Date - May 14th - 8:50 am - 11:10 am and 12:10- 2:30 pm, if needed.
Parents volunteers are needed by 8:30am on the day they are volunteering to help set up.

Upcoming Spring Book Fair
Saint Patrick's will host its second annual Bedford Falls $5.00 and under book fair from May 9 - May 15, 2008. Would you like to help? Please contact Mrs. Lehmuller via e-mail: lxlehmuller@stpatrickschool.net. If you would like to be added to the volunteer list.

MACS Summer Camp 2008
Registration has begun for MACS Summer Camp 2008. Registration information is available online at www.charlottediocese.org/prgrams or contact Suzanne Beasley, Director of Non-School Day Enrichment Programs. Camps will be held at St. Mark, St. Matthew and St. Patrcik Schools. Enrollment is limited to the first 60 registrants. Please contact Suzanne Beasley at 704-333-0007 or MACScamp@aol.com if you have any questions.

Protecting God's Children Policy:
Protecting God's Children and Background checks and required before coming to eat lunch with your child/volunteering in the school. If you have not met these requirements yet, make sure you sign up ASAP. If you are not following these school procedures, think what message you are sending to your children and your school community. our goal is to protect all children. Upcoming classes can be found on the Diocesan website at: www.charlottediocese.org.
Pre-registration is required. After the class, periodic updates are sent via e-mail. Background forms may be obtained from the office, www.virtusonline.org and/or www.charlottediocese.org

Inclement Weather Policy:
If school operates on delayed schedule, is closed early or is not in session it will be announced on the following television and radio stations: WBT-TV, WSOC-AM/FM, WSOC-TV, WCCB-18, NBC-6TV, and 102.9/WTDR.
Listen for Mecklenburg Area Catholic Schools (MACS). If School operates on a delayed scheduled, there will be no before school care and no lunches ordered. Children must come to school with packed lunches.

Accelerated Reader
Saint Patrick School is very happy to offer the Accelerated Reader program to our students, grades 1-5.
Accelerated Reader (AR) offers a point system to encourage our students to read more and improve their reading comprehension.
